How does GEO IQ work?

GEO IQ turns a URL into an AI Search Visibility Score and a prioritized list of fixes. Enter a page, and it runs three kinds of checks, combines them into one score from 0 to 100, and shows exactly what to change to improve it.

What a scan runs

Technical Optimization: deterministic checks on whether crawlers and AI engines can reach and read the page, including a Deep Scan that renders it in a real browser to see what survives without JavaScript. This part is free.
Content Quality: an AI reads your page the way an answer engine would and grades how clear, complete, and credible it is.
AI Presence: GEO IQ asks AI answer engines the questions your page is built to answer and records whether your domain is cited, mentioned, seen, or absent, along with which competitors win those answers.

From score to action

Every issue becomes a recommendation, ranked by the number of points fixing it is projected to add, so you work the highest-impact items first. You apply the fixes yourself or through your existing workflow; GEO IQ analyzes your page but never changes your site.

Tracking progress

Re-scan after a fix to see the score move. Technical and Content scores respond immediately; AI Presence follows over the weeks as engines re-crawl. Scan history lets you watch the trend over time. The free technical audit runs unlimited on paid plans, and the AI checks use your monthly plan.

In practice

In one first-hand test, applying the prioritized fixes to a single page improved its AI Search Visibility Score by 37% in 54 minutes. Structure and Semantics went from 48 to a perfect 100, Technical Optimization from 66 to 95, and the page's content type, previously read as "Unknown," was correctly identified.
